Lets Talk Gay Weddings

That is an excellent question.  Do most lesbian couples have an engagement ring.  I am assuming even though there are 2 women, there would be only 1 enagement ring since it would be 1 person doing the proposing.  Anyways, if/when we move to a same-sex state I have pondered the whole engagement ring versus just getting wedding bands idea.  We are simple frugal gals who do not consider ourelves materialistic, so we shall see.  I still wonder if getting an engagement ring is following the "staright path" too much.
